Alternate Data Center

For this project, the third floor of the central office underwent an interior demolition and renovation. This included the installation of new mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, and security systems. The interior was also finished to create a new data center within the space.

The owner maintained occupancy of the building throughout the entire project. To ensure day-to-day operations were not disturbed, any construction within ten feet of existing telecommunications or data equipment had to be coordinated with the owner and done during "safe time." All equipment in the building had to be protected from dust, moisture, and vibration.
